Welcome to Spiritual Direction of Arizona.  We have several people willing to walk alongside you, to listen to you, and to walk with you on your journey with God  We are committed to helping you deepen your spiritual walk with God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, and God the Father.  We will encourage you in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and help you as you turn towards the healing Word of God and in His Holy Scriptures.

I am here to listen to your story, help you discern what is God's good and perfect will for you.  I have been walking alongside of people since I was 16, leading small groups, doing one on one mentoring and discipleship.  My calling has been, since I was nine years old, to experience the Love & Presence of God and to help others experience that same Love and Presence.  I love the Word of God and His Spirit.

Shelly has been walking alongside folks for over 7 years - she is the president of a local food pantry, runs youth services at a local drop in at the Vineyard Community Center.  She has studied at Saint Stephen's University.

Danny Mullins

Bi-Vocational Pastor-Elder

Danny Mullins has been in full time vocational ministry since 1979.    He has served as a lead pastor for ten years and an additional 24 years as a staff pastor with responsibilities in counseling, teaching, preaching, inner healing prayer, and worship ministry.  Married to Janet in 1972, he is the father of four adult sons and three grandsons.

Our goals.

  1. To know and be known by God

  2. To help others hear and practice the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives daily

  3. To root people in the truth of the Word of God

  4. To help people live loved and be the Love of God to others

Our beliefs

 

  1. We affirm the trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  One God in three persons.

  2. We believe in the present work of the Holy Spirit in our lives

  3. We affirm the holiness and effectiveness of the Word of God.  We follow Classic Christian practices and beliefs.

  4. We believe in the substitionary work of Christ on the cross - for the forgiveness of sin and the redemption of mankind.

  5. It is by grace we are saved through faith - and this is not a work of our own.

  6. We are committed to the great commission - to make disciples and followers of Jesus Christ

  7. We affirm the use of the local church as a means of building the Kingdom of God
