WHAT IS SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

Soul-Care/Personal Relationship with Jesus/Being Still Before God/Finding Rest/Knowing God and Being Known​/Letting the Word of God wash over you.​

Spiritual Direction is an ancient practice where two people sit in the presence of God sharing one's "life-experience," in the context of what "God is doing."   A Spiritual director will help people "Dust for the fingerprints of God."  A Spiritual director does not have quick fix answers and suggestion but instead will help a person examine what God is doing in their life and point them to Jesus Christ, Father God, and the Holy Spirit. The Word of God is a very useful tool in this process and reflection in the Word of God helps in the transformation of the Spirit, soul and body.



It can last for a few weeks or for a lifetime.  Both the director and directee will meet as long as both find it helpful for spiritual growth.
